Shaykh Abdul Jaleel Jaffar serves as the Associate Imam and Youth Director at Hillside Islamic Center in New York, engaging the community through religious scholarship and professional counseling skills. He completed the Alimiyyah program in Trinidad and Tobago and holds Professional Diplomas in Counselling and Educational Training from the London International College, as well as a certificate in Islamic-perspective counseling.

Dedicated to mentorship and unity, he actively lectures at local schools and universities and participates in interfaith dialogues and clergy conferences to engage in respectful conversation and promote peace. As a Youth Director, he focuses on integrating diverse groups through regular halaqahs and sports tournaments, striving to cultivate well-rounded young leaders in a supportive environment.
